Local Lib Dems campaigner, Alan Wells is concerned that the location at the back of Sun Pier House and B & M's car park and to the entrance to Sun Pier itself, has become dangerous and poses a risk of injury to walkers. 'We want £2 fare cap extended to all bus operators in Medway' - say's local Lib Dems candidate

New figures reveal £76,949,474.00 needed to fix Kent and Medway NHS

New analysis by the Liberal Democrats has found that £76,949,474.00 is needed to clear Kent and Medway NHS maintenance backlog and repair crumbling buildings. Meanwhile, the part of the NHS which covers hospital buildings is facing a £700 million cut. The small print of the Autumn Statement revealed the savage cut to the Department for Health's capital spending budget next year, which is used for buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.

'Stop Sewage Dumping Now'– say Medway Liberal Democrats

The sewage scandal has been one of the biggest issues of the past 18 months. Wanting clean rivers and beaches is an issue that really resonates with people in Medway. In 2021 alone there were over recorded 466,000 sewage overspills into UK rivers - constituting almost 3.5 million hours of sewage discharge into our rivers. Recent studies by the River's Trust have found that only 14% of UK rivers are in good ecological health, and none are in good overall health.
