'Liberal Democrats are engaging with Medway'
We are pleased to announce our latest residents survey is now available online. This is an opportunity for residents to share with us, their thoughts of Medway and what issues are important, and what we can do to help. It will help Medway Liberal Democrats to understand and act on the needs or issues that the community experiences. Access to the survey can be found here: https://medwaylibdems.org.uk/Engagement2022
We are working to build a stronger open dialogue between local Lib Dems and residents, its also about building a relationship and trust between Medway and us. We are working to listen and respond better on a regular basis, and we realise that we have to invest in positive engagement, to respond to residents concerns.
John Castle, chair of Medway Liberal Democrats said, " We want to reach out to Medway and secure mutual trust with communities. This is a part of our DNA. These are potentially daunting times for Medway, but we have seen through local neighbourhood forums that communities are frequently more than able and willing to step up. We believe Medway can be better and overcome the issues it faces.
By grasping what people need and what they can do for themselves, we can work better with our town's communities. This is just one way that Liberal Democrats can engage and tackle issues.
We see this as an ongoing, continuous period of engagement, and feedback will give us an insight into what people think and feel. It will enable us to build better policies to deliver, and determine what is needed to be more responsive to residents concerns."
