Brexit has not only ripped our country apart, but has exposed a social crisis and democratic deficit. Time devoted to Brexit should be spent on problems that politics have ignored for years. I will dedicate myself to exposing and working to overcoming these problems. I am determined to work hard to protect Rochester and Strood from the effects of Boris Johnson's chaotic Conservative Government."

Change the direction of our country, join the fastest growing party in Britain

The Conservative administration in Medway is running out of new ideas. The Conservative government is failing deliver its promises and is paralysed by Brexit.

In Medway we believe that better is possible by delivering the housing that is needed, affordable homes to own and rent including adequate levels of social housing. We believe that job security is threatened by mishandling Brexit negotiations. The High Streets in the Towns are under threat, with a backdrop of homelessness and boarded up stores, the character of the High Streets need attention and a vision that works for local businesses, groups and individuals.

The Liberal Democrats have a vision for the future based around opportunity for everybody and creating opportunities for individuals in business. We demand better at the local level and the national level and we want to see a change of direction.
