Recognising Different Genders Petition

Recognising Different Genders by Medway Council

Currently Medway Council surveys and consultations have the following gender options when they collect information for diversity data, "Male, Female, Prefer not to say". This does not include a positive option for non-binary and transgendered people, which can lead people to be felt ignored and discriminated against. We at the Medway Liberal Democrats believe the Council surveys should include at least one positive option covering other genders on surveys as a way to encourage participation. Please sign our petition that calls on Medway Council to make this simple change on all their future surveys.
